Sorting encodes the recommendation
Results sort authorised first, then by stock. That ordering is the recommendation: an unfranchised broker with parts in hand should never outrank an authorised distributor who can ship next week, because the risk is not comparable. Unauthorised entries are labelled explicitly rather than quietly omitted — pretending the grey market does not exist does not help a buyer who is about to use it.
The standing footer note stays regardless of filters. It is not legal boilerplate; it is the reason the component sorts the way it does, and a purchasing engineer under schedule pressure benefits from seeing it at the moment of decision.
Stock figures go stale within hours. Drive them from a distributor API server-side and pair with the Availability Widget, which carries the "last updated" discipline for exactly this reason.
